"Eventually, it becomes clear that the Empire commanders aren't a whole lot brighter. They've designed a planet-sized space station with a two-meter wide hole in it that leads directly to the reactor core. Every time the Empire does maintenance on the hull Darth Vader has to remind the workers not to horse around lest they drop a paint brush or wrench down the opening and destroy the entire station."

Woohahahaah. That's a quote from a review of Star Wars. Wow Mr. Cranky is funny.

Wow this is funny. Maybe I'm a sick and twisted individual... but I found this very humourous, albeit evil. Hacker Plays 'Jump' on Police Radio
Ahh, why am I awake? Insomnia you say? Bah. Perhaps some incredible drive to get work done early? Again, no. The simple reason is that my internal clock is totally fucked, and has been since I decided to stay awake for about... 32 (31.5 really...) hours in order to have a lot of fun playing LAN games with friends.

But, no matter, that's in the past, and why dwell on it. In more recent news, my set project is coming along quite well. I've gotten a 20 card no-set set through my program, and plan to get more by tomorrow. If all goes well, I'll even be able to find some patterns and write a new search algorithim based on them. But, again, you, the reader, probably haven't the slightest idea what I'm talking about. So, I'll change topics yet again.

I'm so tired. I don't know what to write about. There's nothing on my mind. Well, there is something. I think I'm at a point where sometimes I'm so convinced I can't do someting, I subconciously sabotage myself, in order to fail. Why then, do I determine myself to fail? I fear responsibility. I'm reminded of a Calvin & Hobbes where Calvin and Susie are getting their report cards, and Calvin asks what Susie got, and she says she got an A+ or something, and then Calvin express dissappointment, and explains that he'd much rather get what he did, that being a C. He goes on to say that the reasoning for this is that everybody's expectations of him are then lowered, and he gets by easier with less crap from those around him.

I don't like expecations or responsibilities, however, I don't want to get poor grades, or do badly at whatever. I want to succeed in what I do, whatever that is, or may be in the future. I just don't want to be obligated to. I really have no idea what I'm saying anymore, at this point I'm just thinking, and typing what comes into my mind. Coherency be damned. How about some nice free association type stuff...

I'll begin with what I'm listening do... nelly furtado, nelly, country grammar, childrens rhymes, playground, gravel, scraped knee, malformation, cartiledge deficiency, carticell, uncle nelson, note to self: research said technology, skiing, canada, far hills resort, venison, deer, santa claus, fat man in red suit, red coats, oppression, sim ant, yellow ant, Antz, toy story, woody, song change, barenaked ladies, alcohol, "peer pressure", pity, pit, pendulum, beheading, guillotine, gruesome death, impalation, Vlad the impaler, whoa, it's 2:00 in the morning, sleep, dreams, aspirations and hopes for that which can never be, movies, star wars, lightsaber duel, jedi mind tricks, yoda, resent for peers, school, negotiations with principal about unust punishment, note to self: do not neglect to follow through with that, call tyo, pig stabbing, stake, vampire, cross, church, polytheism, hinduism, india, nepal, kathmandu, ben shear, parker school, shaker road, matt tilghman, kings quest, oddysey of the mind, robot, Aasimov, good authors, vonnegut, books people suggest, david sedaris, esquire magazine, hearst publishing, something about yellow journalism, 9th grade history class, history class, social studies requirement for graduation, english requirement, china, partners in plan: geddes & ani, Pretty Good Privacy, corrupt network drivers, no internet, no blog, what then?

Wow. Even I am suprised at my thoughts. That's just crazy.

Well, I've spent the last two days pretty well, in a sense. I mean, they were effectively wasted in terms of time for getting any sort of work done, which is something I kind of needed to do, however, they were also very fun. You see, the original plan was to have me and some friends show up at one of our houses on Monday morning, go see a movie, return to said friend's house, and then play LAN games, N64, or wach rented movies into the wee hours of the morning, preferably without time wasted on sleeping. What actually happened was quite close to that. I personally decided to take it upon myself to provide the group with copious amounts of caffeiene, and bought a bunch of super caffienated drinks for said purpose. I also brought my computer along to make sure we had enough for all people who showed up to play in whatever game were going to play.

Around 11:00 AM Monday, my friend leaves his house in order to pick me and my junk up, however, upon arrival, like 90% of the people who drive to my house during the winter, not counting my family, he gets stuck in the driveway because we never actually clear it off, so there is usually a pretty even layer of ice over it during the winter. Anyhow, he and I spent the next 1.5 - 2 hours digging him out of the snow, but in doing so, we decided not to go and see a movie because the time we wanted was taken up instead by digging a car out of a snowbank. Either way, we showed up at his house, unloaded our various things from the cars, and then started to plan the remainder of the day. Of course, one of the people there had forgotten a number of his things, so he went to get his stuff, and en route rent some movies, while me and some other friends would start setting things up.

Anyhow, the rest of the story is pretty boring, which is basically I spend the entirety of Monday AFternoon, night, and tuesday morning, playing LAN games such as Unreal Tournament, Lithium Quake 2, Myth 2, Warcraft II (could have been Starcraft, but the concensus was for something more "old skool" as Geddes put it), N64 games, wait, no, only one game, that being Mario Tennis, and just hanging around watching movies and other stuff. I got no sleep, Sneakers is a good movie, and when I got home the following day around 3:45, I immediately fell asleep, woke up around midnight for about 30 minutes, fell asleep again, and woke up at about 9:40 this morning.

Having done all that I slept nearly 18 hours, effectively wasting any time Tuesday for getting work done, and Monday was spent gaming and screwing around. Now it's Wednesday, and time for me to get back to the work I have to get done this "vacation."
