Ok, I don't know what I'm saying, and I'm no movie reviewer, but as action movies go, this is a pretty good one.

You see, here's how it started, and I'm going to write this without fear of censorship by the school, because they've already blocked this site, and all mirrors of it. It's because they've singled me out. Consider... there are a good number of blogs these days in the Bromfield circut, and as far as I know (I could be wrong) only two student sites have been specifically blocked. Me, and Jamorg.Com. They seem to be on my case an awful lot (compared to my peers) in terms of cleaning out my "H:" drive, when at this point, how do I even know that everything there is mine (See link in post previous to this one)? Finally, although here I'm starting to get into guessing... I think they're monitoring my personal browsing or something. Consider, I doubt that (m)any of my peers know of the site "starcandy?" Furthermore, I think I may have visited that site during school almost definitely less than 5 times ever, however, it's blocked by the sonic wall! So, either it somehow fell under some category that's not allowed (which I doubt, because I've been to, or seen other people go to far too many sites that would/do certainly fall under more categories that might be objectionable) or, they're watching me. Big brother is watching ME.
Anyhow, back to what happened today...so me, Tyo, Roux, Lee and Malone were hanging around after school for whatever reason, and we eventually all were in the computer lab doing whatever, when it was... revealed by certain undisclosed members of this group (ok, so one of them may have been me, complaining of the outrageousness of the issue), suddenly revealed that it was in fact possible for any student to look at any other students "personal H drive" on the server. The "H: Drive" is basically a shared folder on the server where students/teachers/other can store their files. The idea used to be that this was a private area to keep stuff, accessible only to network administrators. This is no longer the case. We may have also found a way back into looking at teacher files (I found out about ths problem 2 days ago, and alerted the administration to the facts that (A) having teacher folders be accessible to anybody is a very bad idea, and (B) students are not going to like having their files be publically accessible. The response to point A was an immediate change in permissions on those folder, but the response to point B was incredibly underwhelming.), but before we could test our theory, we were told to save our work, log off, and leave. We then walked down to the library, in order to continue use of computers (some for work, others for further investigation) and upon arrival, we were told that they had recieved a phone call from the network administrators requesting that we not be allowed on to the computers.
Two days ago, same day I discovered all this, I asked if the administrators honestly expect students to allow this to go unabused, and they answered me that they thought that students would exercise better judgement, or be kept ignorant of the fact that it could be done. They horribly misjudge the students. Anyhow... that's what happened, as far as I can tell. The administration is aware of the reaction of dismay students have upon finding out their files are open to anybody, yet they do nothing.

Anyhow, I've got very little to say, in spite of the fact that I had a whole diatribe ready when I was upstairs doing the dishes, yet I've now forgotten. I really hope there wasn't any homework I was supposed to do that I didn't... Ok, well, I'm going to finish my Java set deck shuffler, and then probably go to sleep.
