Based on the above, I've come to the conlusion that the reason I lost was due to the failure of the administrators of the revote to carry out their task. Both in lack of awareness, and lack of execution. Although all the teachers involved had very good reasons not to have been able to carry out the vote, namely Ms. Marchand was at a meeting, and it's perfectly reasonable that she wouldn't be able to give the vote from a meeting. Either way, although it won't happen, I'd like to request a re-vote, or recount or something that would allow me another fairer chance at treasurer. It just seems illogical that a revote would be held, in which part of the class was excluded. Although very unlikely, it is possible that the majority (as in more than 3 more than half) of the non-voters would have voted for me. If these people were excluded by the chance occurence that they had first period english and then didn't have Ms. Woods for Geo, it doesn't seem fair to me, as it could have just as easily occured that a class full of Jen supporters might have been inadvertently excluded.
Enough of this nonsensical babble. I don't mean to place the blame on anybody in particular, however, I do think that the circumstances surrounding my loss in the race for treasurer are a bit... cloudy.
>--Manifest anger into plot to undermine existing treasurer.
>--After existing treasurer has resigned position, take over.
>--Take over rest of government once "inside" it.
Everything about it has taken on the appearnce of foolish to me. Also, how did 25% of the grade not vote? If the re-vote was mandatory for every person in an english class that day, I find it extraordinarily hard to believe that approximately 20 people were absent that day.
