I think this blog is far too self centered. I need to have a new focus, which is not myself, and solely that. Furthermore, I think I may take a brief break from blogging in significant amounts. School is going to be quite a burden, and I don't have enough time to do everything that I would like.

It should be noted, that the use of the phrase "I don't have enough time" above should not be interpreted using the interpretation given by my economics teacher, who states that everybody has the same amount of time, 24 hours, in a day, and when people say that, they are really making the statement that they want to do something else over something with you. The phrase, I believe, is used to mean "I don't have enough free time due to the other activities that have already been planned for whenever you would like me to spend time on doing something else" however said much shorter in "I don't have enough time." It shouldn't be interpreted literally, it should be accepted as a figure of speech, for the most part, people get irritated when I interpret everything they say literally, and so do I when people do it to me.

Of course, I could consider that perhaps not everybody does have the same amount of time. Considering... does time flow at a constant rate for everybody? What's to say that in what you experience as 1 hour, I experience something more or less... "time" is being kept in accordance with the number of "hours" in a day, but why not base it on some other system? It makes sense to have our clocks follow the sun, however we do so somewhat inconsistently, because the daylight hours are different in different seasons. During winter, there are fewer daylight hours... well I think I'm going to be unable to continue my ranting, due to the fact that it is "time" for dinner.

I have this note here to myself mentioning that I should make note of my Physics teacher. He is one crazy guy. Yesterday, in class... one of the students was asking if he would start a fire like he did for his sister, to which he replied how that was for a chemistry class, and relevant in that case, however he decided for fun, and because we had a long period, that he would for us too... so he turned on the gas valves, and set them aflame. Although it had no real purpose, it was awfully cool to see two little mini-blowtorch like flames just being there in the air starting at the valves. He's a very entertaining teacher, I think I'm going to enjoy physics this year.

At the request of my irritating friend Alex, I am updating my blog.

I have too much to do. This is what I have on my list for... today and tomorrow... but I haven't even recieved assignments from tomorrow yet... and remember... this is only my 3rd day of school.

Todo:
Find my Calculator - Tomorrow
Finish AP Stat Problem Set 1 - Tomorrow
Get parents to sign comp usage forms - Tomorrow
Read Chapter 1 of "Journalism Today" - Monday
Active read Debate and Drug articles - Tomorrow
Read Chapter 1 of Eco Book - Monday
Take a bath, write an essay - Monday
Do Physics Problems - Monday
Cover Physics Book - Monday
Cover English Book - Tomorow
Write "In Cold Blood" Essay - Tomorrow
Write course proposal for Java - ASAP (i.e. tomorrow)

I'll have you know that the "take a bath, write an essay" isn't a strange combination of two unrelated things... You see... there's this assignment for Economics class. I have to either bathe my car, a sibling, or a pet, and document it in a 1.5-2 page essay and bring in a picture of the object bathed. The other option being taking a bath, and having an audio recorder going on during the entire duration of it, and writing an essay about that. I'm not joking is all.

What the heck?! Somebody just called... it was definetly a telemarketer of some sort... but here's the basic gist of the dialog:

Me: "Hello?"
Her: "Hello?"
Me: "Hello?"
Her: "Hello, may I speak with Russell Stadler?"
Me: "This is him."
Her: "Sir, I'm sure you're very busy so this will be very brief, are you in charge of an internet service provider for many users?"
Me: "No."
Her: "Oh, I'm sorry, goodbye."

That's crazy. I hate telemarketers. What a terrible job that must be. Constantly calling people who don't really want to talk to you. I really truly hope I never sink to that level of need. I guess I'm lucky that I didn't start off there.

Yay... first day of school. I'm sitting here in Computer Animation class.... today I will be... getting a lot of silly forms. Things like class policy, modified schedules, school calendars. I'm listening to the class attendance, and now the teacher is explaining how Raydream Studio 5 is going to be used for the class. Well.... enough of this. Back to listening.

Today I learned to play racquetball. It was fun. It's a very fun game to play, and it's quite easy to learn, and even if you suck at it, as I do, it's still fun, because the basic premise it slam a small rubber ball as hard as you possibly can towards a wall. Great fun. Yeah. Well... I'm really bad at the game... but as I said, it's still great fun. Two days until school starts. Baaaahhhh.... Ack. I'm feeling really tired now, in spite of the fact that it's only quarter past ten in the evening... but... maybe that's because of my distinct lack of sleep for the past 3 days. Oh yeah, what a revelation.
Ahh... well I'm going to sleep in a few minutes, since I have to be at the school tomorow before 11:00 to meet somebody for racquet ball, for they are going to teach me how to play. What, was the point of that. Why would somebody initiate an AIM conversation with me at 5 past 1:00 in the morning saying goodnight, and then immediately sign off. Is there any purpose to that?

I'm feeling creatively uninspired. Well... not really. However, I did just watch two movies, one of which was "The Usual Suspects" which was an excellent movie, and the other which was "Dark City" which was a bit weird for my taste. Well.. of to sleep, after perhaps a bit of brainstorming.
